Rails and Turbo/Hotwire feature development for an industrial testing application: lab scheduling, equipment calibration and maintenance, messaging, corporate dashboards, and test-result management.

The challenge

Industrial testing brings together laboratories, technicians, equipment, and detailed testing processes. The application needs to coordinate that work while keeping calibration, maintenance, communication, and test results organized.

Major corporate users also need dashboards and testing processes tailored to their operations. Our work focused on the LIMSey application and its testing workflows.

Our work

We built features in LIMSey's Ruby on Rails application using Turbo and Hotwire.

Scheduling and equipment management

We developed scheduling features for laboratories and technicians, along with equipment calibration and maintenance workflows.

Messaging and corporate workflows

We built messaging features and custom dashboards and testing processes for major corporations, shaping the application around their operational requirements.

Working with test results

We developed features for capturing, organizing, and scoring test results, with filtering and search to help users find the records they need.
