The challenge

Dmitriy & Co's furniture customization application combined a Ruby on Rails backend with a React frontend. The inherited system relied on a heavily customized Spree implementation and arrived with extensive bugs and limited documentation. Its graphical customization experience needed substantial rebuilding.

Our work

We upgraded the Rails application and fixed bugs throughout the existing system. We also completely rebuilt the attached React application, which supports the graphical furniture customization experience.

The project covered custom furniture configuration and the connected quoting, ordering, and payment workflows. Our role was to repair and modernize an existing application while rebuilding the interactive frontend around its business requirements.
